A friend got this one on offer recently - she was looking for it everywhere and ended up picking it up at an airport - and she showed me what it`s like. Also, although it's not listed in the long list of official notes, what I mostly get from the fruity aspect of the scent is melon - which in my opinion is just okay as a fruit, and not great in perfumes either.

For the 13ml, 30ml and 50ml Spray: You will receive a specially formulated spray bottle which will enable you to get that spritz feeling which you don’t get with the oils. I think it’s a very intentional composition actually and I enjoy that they kept it to just a few notes. Now that I'm living in a warmer country and that my taste and chemistry have changed I have rediscovered it for me, and it is definitively me. The fragrance arrives on the market in June 2010 as a blend of refreshing notes of crushed mint leaves and lemon Limone Primo Fiore Femminello from Calabria.I was excited to see what this smelled like, since I love the fresh scent of its companion acqua di gio for men. I have a bottle of the older formulation (bottle with the round cap) and have had a couple samples of the more recent formulation. It has pretty moderate lasting power on me, I don't struggle with the performance as much as some other people do. We are in compliance with the Trademarks Act 1994 and all other applicable UK legislation regarding comparative advertising.

Had me fantasizing about a shower, spa towels, a fresh change of clothes, white linens, opening all the windows and cooling down with a cheeky chilled drink as the sun sets and the evening breeze picks up. The smell is pleasant, longevity on my skin is 4 hours before I have to reapply, projection is good, perhaps 1. Acqua di Gio is juvenile, with the smell of flowers, with a perfect balance of acidity and sweetness. I never really finish perfume bottles especially after a week of getting them, so you know this is a special one.

This scent achieved its high-quality status by perfectly harmonizing aquatic notes with sweet and fruity notes of muscat grapes from Pantelleria along with blending them successfully with the freshness of pineapple and citrus notes. All in all I’m happy that I decided to try it again and that I was able to capture the loveliness that I had remembered about it, if only briefly. Kinda weird that it performs better for me when the weather is cooler vs warmer considering that it is a summer type scent. I get the sweetness from the brown sugar note, which compliments the citrusy freshness of the fragrance well. I recently bought mine to coordinate with my fiance when he wears the men's version, which makes me swoon every time.

I have a 100ml bottle of the original and I'm not quite sure what to do with it because swapping would require communicating and providing my address. Can be worn anywhere really, but the memories I have of wearing this fragrance always take me to the beach. Want to love this but something about it is just off for me and the scent changes quickly from something amazing to something awful unfortunately. Thankfully I don't suffer too much that one weird thing my skin does after the opening since it's longevity is nonexistent. But has depth and longevity, i dont get bored of it like i do with many other freshies, i love labdanum so maybe that makes it more interesting to me, altough i cant really pic out the labdanum in the scent but i think its the note that gives this perfume depth and balance out the freshness, it grounds the fragrance. This scent has really grown me ,sampled it a few years ago now and I can’t say I liked it,butnow I find it a class scent.

The only reason I didn't try this sooner is I have some kind of prejudice against big brands like Armani. But as I wore my sample, 9 years ago now, I slowly fell in love with the brown sugar, lemon, and mint combination. I don't hate it, and it's such a fresh, cool scent, I can forgive the old-school aquatic vibe that was SO sexy and edgy round 'bout 1995! Throughout the day it settles into a skin scent, it settles into a very strong sweet, creamy-ish scent.I bought this perfume after hearing many positive reviews and wanting to have a fresh scent in my humble collection. I notice myself getting hints of the fragrance all throughout the day, it's not an offensive scent - a crowd pleaser if you will. The dry down reminded me of a late 2000s perfume I used to have back then from either Abercrombie or Hollister.
